John's problems with his mother's credit theft and a couple of other things led me to do some research on this. I knew that a law had been passed where you could get the reports for free. They are rolling this system out geographically and it will be available everywhere by the end of the year.
Thought you might be interested. The scam is that they can still charge you for your credit "score" even though they provide the report. But hey the report is better than nothing...
