Welcome to GreNME.com's "SKOOL" forum for students. On this forum, you will be able to share some of your notes, get notes you may have missed in class, and compare information you got from class with the information others may have gotten. Hopefully, it will add to your learning experience, and allow you to lighten your load by working with your fellow students in understanding the courses you are taking.
This will walk you through the processes of posting in threadsor topicsas well as creating threads of your own. If you choose to, you may register (http://grenme.com/forum/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00) to the forum, which will allow a few more abilities when posting a message. Regardless of whether you are registered or not, you may use this forum to help out others and recieve help yourself. Let's begin...
Starting a new "thread"To begin a new thread, you must look for the "New Topic" button at the top left corner of the front page to the forum, and click it. The button looks like the following: http://grenme.com/forum/style_images/BlueGray-650/t_new.gif
After clicking, you will be taken to a form asking for your name and password if you are not logged in (you do not need a password if you are not registered, you only need to put a name), a name for the topic you are starting, a sub-heading for the topic, and then a box for you to type the message. In the message, you may place your notes, some question, or any advice you may have. In addition to the boxes you may use to fill in text, there are places where you can choose to add smileys to the message, italicize or bold text, create a list, change the color of the text, and so on. Replying to Topicsto reply to any topic, you would almost follow the directions for starting a topic completely, except you would look instead for the "Add Reply" button, which looks like the following: http://grenme.com/forum/style_images/BlueGray-650/t_reply.gif
The form you are taken to is exactly like the form for starting a topic, except the message will follow the message you are replying to, in the topic the message was posted.
Deleting Posts or Topicsonce you post, you cannot delete your post. If you are registered, you may edit your post for a short time after you have posted. All other editing on the forum can only be done by a selected moderator or myself.
