Maybe it's the time of the year. Maybe it's because it seems like I've cried for attention and gave nothing in return. Maybe it's just Christmas.

Such is the result: I want to thank you all, because you've become meaningful to me, and you are my friends. I should probably do this more privately, by sending a GMS for instance, but I'm lazy. Then again, I don't think a general thank you would be fair to some of you. Though I would like to make it clear that I do appreciate the friendship of all of you. Anyway, here goes. My thanks:

John - for keeping this place. For your understanding, care and honesty. For being a true friend. Danke.

celia - for being the first person who talked to me directly on AIM. I'm shy, I wouldn't have started talking to people on my own. It meant a lot.

I've been jealous for YEARS. Ever since I entered puberty and found out what sex was, I've longed to discover the much-rumored secret Mormon sexual techniques that drive women mad.

You KNOW they have all those wives for a reason.

Thus far, though, my search for Mormon sex secrets has been as futile as Pete's (a la Ornery) attempts to pass an IQ test. You have to admit it, Mormon security's great -- I haven't heard of anyone other system that bleaches their citizens to distinguish them from outsiders. Alabama comes close with color-coded justice, but even the South falls short of temple security. But I have hopes, dreams. I'm watching Alias -- I'm learning. Watch out, Salt Lake City, here I come in a provocatively sexy raver outfit with a bright pink wig to seduce you THEN KICK YOUR ASS AND STEAL YOUR SECRETS! Then sleep with my CIA handler.

They call them "handlers" for a reason, y'know...

And, heh, forgive the Pete reference. You wouldn't believe Ornery right now. This guy's got a degree in trolling. It's frustrating, to say the least, to try and argue a cyber-Billy O'Reilly. This guy's almost exactly like O'Reilly, too -- he goes through manic-depressive periods of outrageous, dishonest lunacy and sulky, moaning paranoia before he claims he never said whatever he's said, or starts new threads (or deletes old threads) to distract from older rebuttals of his lies or get rid of them entirely. I mean, I don't remember even Baldar being half the slime this jackass is.

But, gah. I shouldn't talk about people where they can't read it. I'll probably delete this whine after I post it, but damn it's nice to get that off my chest.
